Expensive
Liked: Old style hotel in downtown Chicago, the room was absolutely gorgeous. Good breakfast
Disliked: Very expensive, noisy, no friendly personnel. noisy because of the central AC, no matter if you turns it off in room, something very noise keeps working

Good stay overall
Liked: - Room was spacious and clean- Big windows
Disliked: - Bathroom had a “glass wall” with a curtain that needed to be closed from the room side- Blackout curtains didn’t block the light, room was bright since early morning- Every street noise could be heard during the night- No complimentary water

A good hotel at a...
Liked: After tiring travels, I requested a quiet room, which the staff looked for. I was eventually given a free upgrade of a suite by Paulo, the manager.It was very gracious and appreciated.I found all the staff very nice and accommodating.Location is very good for walking everywhere.The room was very spacious and nice.A small thing, but I think important, is nice complementary waters for the room. Some way to heat water for tea would be good too.
Disliked: One night, it was a little noisy from other rooms as people came in from the night.

Disliked: I arrived late at night, after two really difficult days for me since all my credit cards were blocked. Anyway, I had all the details of another credit card and cash with me. Marta, your front desk associate, explained that you just accept physical cards. Now, I understand that it is the hotel policy and I really suggest you to highlight even more dramatically this policy before arrival, especially to your international guests. It is not rare having technical issues with credit cards abroad and you should know it. You can easily imagine how bad was my situation, a woman by herself all alone in the city at night, without a place to stay. I was respectful and she was not rude, but we were very far from the ideal of guest service. She absolutely didn’t offer any extra help to a guest in a very difficult situation. Nice attitude and kindness are everything in life, but they are even more important if you choose to work in the hotel industry. And also, no duty manager at night? Not acceptable. This is not what you expect from a 4-stars hotel.
