Fabulous location

Liked: The staff were so friendly and accommodating to our needs. The location to all facilities was amazing. The European is now our go too when visiting Perth.

Generally a good hotel

Liked: The staff were courteous, professional, and helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The location was ideal in Perth Central, but very quiet, too.
Disliked: Two things, probably due to wear and tear. Difficulty with the washbasin cold water tap. It was very difficult to switch off completely to stop it running/dripping. Also, the wc cistern occasionally continued to run and not fill the tank. After inspection, the float mechanism had stuck, so readjustment resolved the issue, but it did recur.

Oasis of comfort and convenience

Liked: It was a late check in, but I was greeted by the most lovely, cheery young lady and that took away any stress that I was feeling after a bit of an ordeal getting there. I felt like The European Hotel was an oasis of safety and comfort. The place has an old world charm that helped me feel at home. It's not a polished modern hotel, but it's clean and comfortable, and it's the sort of place I love. After I vacated my room, I used the laundry room to get my gear in order after a long road trip, and that was just an added bonus to this place. I only stayed one night, but would have happily stayed longer.
