Liked: The sheets were clean. The shared bathroom was clean and the water was powerful and hot. Having a sink in the bathroom was nice. Maybe it'll be nicer after they re-brand to Oxo-bar/hotel and do some renovation work.
Disliked: This place is falling apart. To find the entrance look for a sheet of faded paper on a door. Even the curtains aren't hung on a rail/rod just over a piece of string. The room was only wide enough for the bed and the door to open, not an inch to spare. The windows were impossible to open so had to run the table-top fan overnight. Only 2 sets of plugs in the whole room. I know Oxford is expensive but this was crazily bad value for money. Next time I'll go to the hostel if I cannot find anything else at a reasonable price.

Liked: Absolutely nothing. It was frankly awful. I have never experienced such a dirty, poorly maintained hotel run by such incompetent staff.
Disliked: The bathroom window was broken and rotten. It was covered in mould and the window frame had rotted away. They had attempted to cover the holes with tape and broken cardboard. I asked for a new room - this was denied and they didn't even attempt to fix the issue. The rooms were not cleaned. The wallpaper was falling off. The bedroom window did not remain open and had to be propped open with a stick. The sink was blocked. The drain had been taped together. The rubbish bag in the bin was dirty - clearly the rubbish had been removed from the bag instead of a new bag being put in. The reception was never manned. The Wi-Fi was unreliable to non-existent. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. DO NOT GO HERE

Liked: The fact that you can leave your luggage with no additional charge is great, and the bathroom was alright.
Disliked: The room looks nothing like on picture, and to be honest, the hotel isn’t very nice
