Liked: Location.
Disliked: Hygiene was terrible, years of dust caked under the bed, unclean surfaces, used cigarettes and trash on the window ledge. Rooms are falling apart, looks like it hadn’t been touched since the 1940’s. Decades old wall paper peeling off the walls, broken window, dust literally came off the single sofa when I sat on it. Not even the bed was made properly.

Liked: The location was convenient for where I needed to go to attend an event.
Disliked: Everything could be better … it’s rundown and dirty with dodgy internet, broken furniture, faulty showers, stinky carpets and uncomfortable beds !

Liked: Location was perfect. Hotel and bed were very clean despite aging facilities. Very convenient and was able to leave luggage in lobby throughout the day
Disliked: Would be cozier with some renovations (ie. new wallpaper, current one is peeling). Noisy but this comes with location. Street doorbell and bedroom code lock were a little hard to use. A little expensive for quality but it seems I paid above the usual price due to a busy week

Liked: The proximity to my meeting venue.
Disliked: The dirty walls, carpet, and lack of services. Oh and no elevator

Liked: The location was good for the city centre
Disliked: This hotel is a disgrace. It was filthy, with cigarette butts, mould, dangerous electrical fittings. The room was not cleaned at all during my stay, bins not emptied, bathroom not cleaned or replenished. On top of all that, there was a mouse in the room, which caused distress and several interrupted nights' sleep. The entrance door is barely locatable, and reception was a dumping ground for boxes and general rubbish. The staff were completely disinterested in resolving my problems, and neither staff or booking.com were willing to offer me any compensation.
