Excellent staff and exceptional food...

Liked: The staff were exceptional, so friendly and welcoming The food as excellent !
Disliked: The communal areas are a bit tired, the reception in particular we thought was a little scruffy

Wonderful place with the kindest...

Liked: Loved the grounds, the architecture and the indoor pool. The food was amazing and the staff were super polite.
Disliked: It’s obviously a very old place with signs of ageing (some pealing ceilings, creaky floors, windows that don’t keep the weather or sounds out) but nothing that one wouldn’t expect.

Amazing for an anniversary and...

Liked: The features and the breakfast sent up to the room was lovely and also the staff were extremely pleasant

Best hotel staff ever.

Liked: The staff are lovely. Everybody is really friendly. The hotel was very clean. The location is gorgeous. The pool is very good.
Disliked: More choice on the dinner menu would be good but not a dealbreaker.

a very relaxing night away,...

Liked: The staff were outstanding - extremely helpful and friendly.The suite was big and comfortable. It was great being able to leave our dog in the room so we could go to the spa. The grounds were lovely.
Disliked: The furnishings were a little tired, but very clean and in good working order.The menu's were a little limited but the food was excellent.

Liked: Extremely warm welcome from Damian, the excellent service overall. but particular call out to Matt the bar man - knowledge, engagement and superb cocktails

Luxurious stay in a historic...

Liked: Lovely grounds, great facilities and the staff are outstanding - knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. 2 interconnecting rooms for a family of 4, with outdoor space. Plenty of food options, restaurant food was excellent, plenty of breakfast options. Pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms well maintained.
Disliked: pricey, but you get what you pay for
