The Spotlight on ETAP Hotel Belfast

Smart, Central, and Ready for Your Next Gig

Modern, no-frills, and right in the middle of Belfast’s buzzing city centre, ETAP Hotel Belfast is a solid choice for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action without blowing their budget. With free Wi-Fi, 24-hour front desk, air-conditioned rooms, and a location just over a mile from Belfast Central Station, it’s a practical base for catching your favourite artist and exploring the city.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’ll be well-placed for Belfast’s best music venues, many of which are within walking distance or a short cab ride away. The area is lively, but rooms are well-insulated for a decent night’s sleep after the show. The 24-hour reception is a huge plus for late-night check-ins, and the no-fuss vibe means you can come and go without hassle.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking for affordable digs near the city’s nightlife.
Solo travellers chasing that dream gig.
Couples planning a weekend of music and city exploring.
Fans who want a quiet, comfy crash pad post-concert.
Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend on tickets than a suite.

Food and Drink Options

Kick off your day with a continental breakfast served in the dining room—think cereals, breads, juices, and coffee. While there’s no restaurant or bar on-site, the hotel’s central location means you’re just steps from Belfast’s many cafes, takeaways, and late-night eateries. Perfect for grabbing a bite after the encore.

Nightlife Options

While ETAP Hotel doesn’t have its own bar, you’re surrounded by the city’s best. From traditional pubs with live music to sleek cocktail lounges and buzzing clubs, you’ll find a variety of nightlife options just a short stroll away on Dublin Road and beyond.

What People Say

Guests rave about the value for money, with many praising the clean rooms and friendly staff. The location is frequently highlighted as ideal for exploring the city and accessing venues. Many reviewers also appreciate the simple, functional design that gets the job done without unnecessary extras.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are compact, so if you’ve packed for a festival weekend, space might be tight. There’s no kettle in-room, and walls can be a bit thin, so noise from other guests may be a factor on busy nights. Still, earplugs and a good playlist can work wonders.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a clean, central, and budget-friendly base to crash after the show, ETAP Hotel Belfast delivers exactly what you need—no more, no less.

Mari, Edinburgh, visiting Limelight Belfast

Liked: Convenient, close to centre and reasonable.
Disliked: The floor in the room could have done with a clean!

Very good

Liked: Location, cleanliness.
Disliked: Staff could learn to smile a bit more and treat customers as individuals rather than saying the same old thing to them with a bored expression. Put on your uniform, put on the smile. Shame no kettles etc in the room, although free tea and coffee in reception.

Belfast mid week break

Liked: Friendly staff but rooms very basic and minimalist. No shelves or hooks in the bathroom for example. Able to borrow a hairdryer from reception but no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Pillows very thin.
Disliked: Breakfast was sparce, limited choice, tiny cups for hot drinks, seemed to be understaffed.

Good

Liked: Staff were fantastic, very helpful & very friendly.Room although small was OK for one night Everywhere was really clean and tidy.Bed was really comfortable.Location was good for train station We knew at such a good price not to expect too much but overall was pleasantly surprised.
Disliked: Only one towel each!, two each should be the minimum in any hotel, budget or not. Room was exceptionally tiny. Getting around the bed was difficult, A bedside shelf would have been handy! Had to leave phone, water etc on the floor at night. Despite the building work and noisey road outside we slept well although a fan would have been good, I don't like air con on at night and the safety window didn't let in much air, windows are very small. Although our stay was pleasant I would only stay one night in such a tiny room and no more than that.
