Good to stay with minimalist...
Liked: The location, spacious room and bathroom.
Disliked: The furniture and facilities not upgrade. Some room upon check in some facilities not there. Room 11 Ansel door is loose.

I AM REALLY FRUSTRATING ABOUT...
Liked: I chose this motel due to its convenient location and as a place to rest if I feel too tired to drive after finishing my class. It is situated near the highway, making it easy for me to return to Bendigo. Moreover, helps me avoid the usual traffic congestion in the CBD. The area also features numerous shops, restaurants, and other essential amenities.
Disliked: This is not my first time staying at this motel; as I recall, this is the fourth or fifth time. Perhaps I could be considered a regular guest. However, during this stay, I quite dissatisfied with room condition. Previously, there were also a few issues that displeased Date of stay: 26/06/2025 Room No.: 21 The issues are as follows: 1. Upon check-in, the staff informed me that the ceiling lamp was not functioning due to a faulty bulb. I accepted this explanation. 2. There was no bath mat in the bathroom, which poses a risk of slipping or falling on the wet floor. 3. Although there was an iron in the cupboard, there was no ironing board available in the room, which is usually provided. 4. The cupboard lacked a hanging rod hangers. 5. The television had no signal as the antenna cable could not be attached to it. 6. The Wi-Fi in Room 21 was completely nonfunctional. 7. The chairs in the room were all broken, posing a potential risk of injury to guests. 8. Lastly, upon returning from visiting my friend, I checked the door lock. Even after locking the door, it could still be opened. Fortunately, no one entered the room, but this issue is extremely frustrating. The hotel management should take this matter seriously and resolve it promptly. Additionally, the management should replace all broken furniture in the room for guest safety and comfort. Considering the room rates, guests deserve better service and well-maintained accommodations. I hope the motel management will address these concerns to improve their services and provide a more valuable experience for their guests, ultimately contributing to their future success.

Disliked: Sheets were dirty and hadn’t been changed. There were wet lube patches in the bed. We arrived at 12pm and couldn’t request the sheet be changed so had to sleep on top of the dooner. There was hair in the sink, bath and shower drains. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Pretty sure the brown marks on the dresser was Pooh and there was crack pipe burns on top of the dresser and a little drug bag with remnants in it

Liked: This was our fourth stay at Essendon Motel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are big and comfortable for the price, and the location suits as it is close enough to the airport and Southern Cross Station.

Disliked: Roads are busy around here lucky U guys are in a service lane wish you sold some off the basic essentials at the front office
