2 night stay with children

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, location excellent But for a family travelling with kids to be put in a room right next to a late closing bar wasn't smart.Excellent stay for someone young looking to party all night but for us . It's a no no Money wise it was ridiculous for what we got Paid well over the odds for a 2 night stay Music going until early hoursPeople opening closing banging doors Was even offered to buy a tv at 2.45am from someone else staying inside this hotel, to later find out the hotel is being used for temporary accommodation for the locals.Staff were lovely and helpful , breakfast was very good 2nd morning, first morning we went without fresh juices etc.. Hope this helps anyone else looking to stay there

Lovely sunny stay

Liked: Location was great and we loved the sea view from our huge room. Breakfast was also tasty.
Disliked: Could do with a king size bed as the double felt small especially considering size of the room we stayed in.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Everything. Social housing hostel. Not a hotel. Many families and mental health patients living there. Noisy early mornings. Room was dirty. Bathroom was inadequate. Tap broken, sink plug broken. Shower trap loose. Caribbean restaurant under our room so the smell was in our room all the time. Didn't feel safe so locked ourselves in at night. Breakfast ok. No fruit or yoghurt. Staff socialising in dining room while you are trying to have breakfast. One worker was constantly using foul language. Worst stay ever. If we hadn't have paid, we would have left.

Okay for short stay.

Liked: The location, as this was ideal for us.
Disliked: 1. Friday evening- there was a disco downstairs (underneath our room). The bass was so booming that the floor vibrated and it was very loud, this went on until past 1am. It’s just a pity that the hotel didn’t advise us of this prior to our arrival, then at least we could have purchased ear plugs. We understand that alternative methods of income are required to keep establishments like this afloat but perhaps be a little more communication is required.2. The room near my daughter’s, she said it was like Mary Poppins bag with the number of people coming out of it and the children were noisy during the night.3. As we were only there for 2nights it’s was okay but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. 4. All the staff were friendly.5. This is now at the end of the holiday season so I expect once all the carpets are thoroughly cleaned that will give the place a little boost as it is tired. 6. The rooms were big and we all had sea views. The en-suites were small but had everything you needed. 7. Breakfast - some of us went for full English with poached eggs. My egg was over cooked and hard but looked like poached egg. Next one was overcooked too and was all over the place. Last one was all straggly bits, hard with shell in it. I wouldn't offer poached eggs if they can’t be cooked perfectly. 8. I would have liked to have had a book in each room containing vital information - where to go in case of fire, timings for breakfast, a map of the area, telephone number and address of hotel - just in case relatives need to get in touch. I have no doubt others will think me picky. All the staff were trying their best.
