Disliked: Travelling with my 3-month-old, I did the sensible thing and called ahead to request a travel cot. The lady at check-in even recognised me from our chat—lovely! She couldn’t guarantee a cot, but no problem, I had my pram.Check-in was fast, I got my key, headed to the lift… and that’s where my “easy stay” dreams ended. After the lift came an Olympic pram challenge: tight corridors, a scenic flight of stairs up, followed by an equally scenic flight of stairs down. All while wrestling a pram, a nappy bag, and my will to live. The fact I’d told them I was bringing a baby made this room choice even more impressive. I’m not sure why a guest who has made it clear they are travelling with a baby—and requested a travel cot—would be placed in a room that is not pram accessible. This felt very thoughtless.Breakfast was another highlight—if you’re into minimalism. “Fried egg on toast” was literally one egg, one slice of toast. No garnish, no flair, just pure loneliness on a plate.On the bright side, the room was clean and big enough once I finally reached it. But between the assault course to get there and the sad breakfast I was very disappointed. Accessibility is clearly not this hotel’s strong point. The steps at the front door should’ve told me everything I needed to know.

Liked: Location of hotel, friendliness of staff, improvements to front of house area of hotel since last visit, parking available, use of lift if needed.
Disliked: Unable to access WiFi due to location of room which was at back of hotel in one of the 'tired' rooms (word used by staff to describe our room), poor cleanliness of carpet on stairwells (would look cleaner/better if uncarpeted maybe). Many old and visible stains on room carpet immediately noticable when entering the room making it, sadly, a bad first impression and 'feeling that room was dirty. Love the hotel and don't look to stay anywhere else in Llandudno but feel we should have, at the very least, been advised of the visible stains beforehand. Bit disappointed in that we could not fault the room we had on our last visit prior to your re-vamp of front of house.which was sadly not the case this time.

Disliked: The window which was originally a sash window was held open with a block of wood which wasn't safe. The bathroom was for a disabled person which we weren't!
