Liked: Thus is our go-to place to stay when in Madrid. Perfect location for shopping and leisure, very professionally run, with friendly and supportive staff
Disliked: The air conditioning is consistently placed to blow straight onto the beds, making for a very chilly night's sleep. But turning it off in the summer is simply not an option, so out come the blankets and duvets, et voilà! However, don't be out off. This is an excellent place to stay

Liked: Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms attended to each day. Lots of suggestions on what to see and places to eat. Great location, on the north end of old town. A short walk to the Palace and subway statuons. Easy connection from the airport.
Disliked: Minor. It would be nice if they had ice and water available for purchase.
