Great place for a week...

Liked: Room was spacious, bed very comfortable, location superb and picturesque. Really enjoyed the breakfast options too
Disliked: Rooms could have been cleaned a little better, generally ok but some cobwebs around sides of furniture and windows.

Liked: Beautiful old Georgian building. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Liked: The staff were really friendly. David especially knowledgeable about the house and happy to share this knowledge.The stable twin was spacious, the bathroom was huge! The barman mixed an exceptional dry martini. The grounds were well maintained and colourful.
Disliked: The decor was a little tired and dragging cases over gravel was tricky A little pricey.

Liked: À wonderful old stately home with real character in a country setting. . Superb breakfast. Caring staff.
Disliked: Creaky floorboards and wobbly floor. Cold water didn't run stayed warm. Curtain off one of its rings.

Lovely country house hotel with...

Liked: Quiet country house environment and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in Grange Lodge which was a short walk from main building and grounds were very pleasant.

Completely fulfilled expectations and more.

Liked: Excellent characterful hotel in a very quiet location with lovely gardens. Excellent food and good value. Being refurbished over the winter to improve facilities. Hopefully, none of the character will be lost!
Disliked: Nothing to say.
