Friendly and attractive place to...

Liked: This hotel was located at the end of an impressive tree lined entrance. An old building with heaps of character,staffed by a genuinely friendly and helpful staff.There was an impressive evening meal menu.
Disliked: Not much. Friendly staff made us really welcome when we worked out where was the hotel entrance. A sign would have helped.

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly. Lovely family run business. They were renovating their function suites at the time ehich will be a fantastic addition to the hotel. There was no noise though. . Location was beautiful. Plenty of space to let our dogs go off-lead for a run. Food was great. Husband particularly enjoyed his curry. Room F was spacious with big soft blankets to cover beds from dogs provided and it was a nice touch to have the Scottish Tunnock bars.
Disliked: Shower took about 2 minutes to warm up but then it was lovely and hot. The shower doors didn't quite meet at the bottom. Vanity unit door handles were rusty from condensation but that's really picking flies! It was a great place and very good value.
