Liked: I booked the restaurant with fabulous views over the hills and river. On the day they asked if they could transfer us to a sister hotel for dinner. So we ended up in a pub with no view. There was a prom night going on . The hotel is a big venue place (264 weddings this year ) not the right place for us. Staff were lovely.

Disliked: Dirty & dusty room. Broken tile in bathroom which cut my foot as didn’t notice it. Breakfast is poor, cheap and nasty, help yourself to everything of the small bit they have. No service provide at all. Given a downgraded room with no compensation or even mentioned. WiFi didn’t work in room, blind broken,

A luxury stay in the...

Liked: The Enterkine is absolutely beautiful inside and out, with such attention to detail. The food was second to none, and the wine list was exceptional. We stayed in the rooms away from the main hotel, which initially felt like it might be a downgrade.....how wrong we were. The annexe is glorious and so well appointed (rainfall shower head anyone)The staff are to be applauded. They were perfectly attentive without being intrusive, and nothing was a problem for them. Of note, there was a large-scale wedding underway when we stayed, and we did not hear a thing. There was no negative impact on our stay, and we will absolutely be back to stay again.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike

Liked: Main event room was lovely, decent breakfast and modern finish to the rooms
Disliked: No WiFi at all in the rooms , tv doesn’t work .. no easily accessible sockets to use iron provided in room
