English Bay Hotel

Really, given the price, this place is a gem. It's spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet (even right on the street!). I mean, it's certainly no Ritz, but for $120 (for 2 adults and 2 kids) you aren't going to find a better deal. Would absolutely stay there again. Very impressed!

Excellent location near English Bay...

Liked: As long as you lower your expectations, you will not be disappointed :o) It is an OLD building, apartments converted to hotel rooms. I think some of the kitchen appliances may be original (LOL!) But - you can't beat the location and the price is much lower than surrounding hotels. There is a parking garage under the building ($25.00 per night, 1st come 1st serve - no reservations allowed), but if you have a large vehicle - don't even try it! Overall, the location made the stay worth it.
Disliked: Very old, outdated rooms. Maybe one of the four burners on our stove worked, kind of (?) Funky older building smells, worn bedspreads, carpet, towels. I would have liked to have been able to reserve parking ahead of time.
