Excellent resort- would stay again.

Liked: Friendly & welcoming staff from the gatehouse to the valet, bellman and housekeeping. Safe & secure gated property. Room- Casita- was ample and provided all amenities, as well as a gas fireplace and terrace. View of RED Rocks and Kachina Women directly off the terrace was fantastic. Shops and restaurants on premise were excellent. Chris at Trail House was awesome and friendly at 7AM in the morning. Spa was well appointed and staff was professional, courteous and well trained. Outdoor areas were beautiful.

Entrapment at The Enchantment! Very...

Liked: At the Mii Amo Spa and Inn, it's a sister property across the green, had a wonderful gym! The restaurant there, Hummingbird, had the only great food at the whole property! They have an activity type center, called Trail House, they were really great there, and we enjoyed working with them. They led us on two of the hikes with the dogs, and it was very challenging and enjoyable. You don't have to be a guest at the resort to use their services.
Disliked: What I did not like was since the gym and sauna, steam were in the Mii Amo Spa, my 15 year old son wasn't allowed to exercise, adults only. The room service food was horrible! And this is a very huge part of staying at resorts, being pampered with great food! They are using an iPad app that you order from, and they display photos of the dishes, since there's no detailed explanations of what the dish consists of, then when it arrives it's totally different from the photo! Every single dish was bad, and it was from the menu from one of the properties restaurants. They don't really have any lounge sitting where you can do a few things and relax by the fire in one of the restaurants. However I did go at an odd time so they did let me sit there and study my Spanish. Most importantly, they say that it's a "PET FRIENDLY" property, but it is NOT! You can't leave the dogs unattended in the room at all, okay I get that, but then you couldn't take them anywhere inside the facility, like in the club house, or outdoor patio with us when we ate a meal. We were miserable because other than hiking together for a couple days when the weather permitted, we weren't able to spend any time together as a family since someone always had to stay in the room. --I had stayed there about 12 years ago, and there has been maybe very little updating to the rooms! AND...the Beds...oh so so uncomfortable! And this is an extremely expensive resort, it's not worth staying here. I hope you read my review before staying there!
