Superb

Liked: Breakfast was great, location very central within walking distances from the main areas. The quay is just across the road. Plenty of good restaurants around.
Disliked: Early check-in when the room is ready for only 1 hour before the stipulated time is a bit to heavy. I understand revenue but flexibility is key in hospitality.

Exceptional

Liked: This is by far the best hotel in Hamburg.
Disliked: The card for the door stops to work like every time you put it next to your mobile phone.

Disliked: No water cooker or coffee maker in the room.Big gap between the matresses is not normal for a Double bed

They could have been more...

Disliked: The room service broke a bathroom product of mine and the reception asked for an invoice to refund me but i didn’t have an invoice, also i was charged the room rate twice and based on the receptionist i will have to wait for two days to two weeks to be refunded.

Outstanding views

Liked: The views of The Elbe and the Hamburg are exceptional, especially from the level 20 bar. If you want a window seat make a reservation. The breakfast buffet was high quality and good value for money. It starts early which is great for travel requirements.
