Liked: The bed was comfortable and the guy at front desk was very friendly and courteous. Made sure we were safe!
Disliked: The place was dirty and stank of cigarettes and was musty 🤧 The bathroom tub was dirty and had crud on the baseboards. The carpet was old, musty and sank when you walked on it. Not refundable so we had to stay. It's sad because the guy at front desk is probably the owner and is doing everything himself. 😢

Disliked: The bedding, including the beds and pillows, presented a significant challenge, as they were uncomfortably firm, which negatively impacted the family's rest. Consequently, the family members experienced fatigue upon waking.

Liked: Nothing, no pool no hot tub as promised in the advertising
Disliked: The room stank, half the outlets were out, which was a problem for me because I sleep with a sleepout damn machine, they have signs all over about noise and guests, while I had 14 knocks at my door between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.

Liked: Very friendly staff. The premises are not luxurious, but it's pretty good value for money. Beds are comfortable, overall impression is tidy though bit outdated. Had a peaceful night. I valued also possibility to use washing maschine and dryer, both functioned well.

Very nice alternative to a...

Liked: I was going to a concert at Ocean casino and didn't feel like paying the $700 expense for a room. The room at Empire was conveniently located nearby and was exactly what I needed. Check-in at a casino can mean a 30-minute wait but I was checked in within 3 minutes! The bed was HUGE; the room was spacious and clean. The motel was right off of route 30 and in a quiet part of town. Sit down restaurants nearby and a McDonalds down the street. Will definitely stay here again for my next A/C concert adventure.
Disliked: Honestly, I have no negatives to report.
