Very good

Liked: The manager on duty when we arrived, Jay, was extremely accomodating. We thought we smelled a bit of cigarette smoke, which can sometimes be problematic for us. Jay found a room that had just been vacated which he offered to have cleaned (and then they would have to clean our room as well) if we weren’t comfortable by the next morning. We were going to leave for a wedding that morning, so he even offered to move our things for us. By the next morning, we ended up feeling just fine and stayed in our room all 3 nights. But Jay’s efforts and willingness to be sure that we were completely satisfied and comfortable were greatly appreciated.

Pleasantly surprised A+ for a...

Liked: The room was clean with all amenities, staff was very friendly, conveniently located nearby the city, parking was easy to access and plenty of spots open, would definitely book again, reviews said it was noisy but I experienced the opposite I didn’t hear any street noise nor did I hear the neighbors.
Disliked: As a solo female traveler it was a bit nerve wracking walking up to my room it seemed I had eyes on me from other guests lurking while outside for there smoke break which is expected of most motels. That said I could smell the cigarette lingering but nothing too intense in the room. The mattress itself could be updated as it was very springy. The door lock being a physical key wasn’t a big deal just more of an inconvenience for me because it was a little tough to unlock taking longer than average to get into your room.

Disliked: Parking is a bit wonky...my husband is handicapped and there wasnt a dedicated spot for our room and had to park across the lot one night. A couple nights where long term residents were a bit noisy but after 10 pm it wasnt bad. No mirror in the room was a bit odd :)

Motel Terrible

Disliked: This is a weekly (transient) motel. In the parking lot are many old beat up cars, some with empty beer cans on them. There were groups hanging out in the parking lot all night. The walls of the rooms are paper thin and very old. I could hear every step the upstairs room took and they also had creaky floors that made it worst. They were walking from around 1AM until 5AM non stop and got zero sleep. Someone tried opening the room lock during the night. The door was just a single key lock, no deadbolt and looked like it had been kicked in and repaired. When I turned on the lights in the morning there were a few roaches running around on the floor. I had paid for 4 nights. I went to the office to checkout after that first night and asked for the 3 nights refund. I was told they could not do that without the owners permission and he was unavailable, they would call me later. I left to a better, cleaner, safer hotel. They never called me back. Next day I called them and was told they would not refund ANY of the unused 3 days. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. Strange thing was even after I told them about the noises and roaches they did not even try to have me change rooms. Their explanation was "the motel is very old"
