Definitely stay here if you're attending a concert at the Mark Smith Hall!

Liked: Clean; staff were friendly.

Staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good. Location was right next door to our event. Never even had to walk outside to get to it. Hotel is very well maintained.

Liked: I've always enjoyed staying at an Embassy Suites. The rooms are always nice and clean. Although management was accommodating I was a little disapointed that my room was not ready. After waiting 1/2 hour after my arrival the room requested was not ready.

The room was wonderful. The staff was very courteous and so friendly that we wanted to hang out with them. The only complaint we had was at 10:45 P.M. - there were 6 boys who appeared to be between the ages of 5-8 playing hockey outside our room (with a hockey goal and everything). Not sure where their parents were but I opened our door (301) and asked them to go back to their room. That was very unpleasant. Everything else was great!

Disliked: Children playing in the hallway at 10:45 p.m.

Disliked: Open bar did not have enough staff too handle the crowd. Had to wait in line 20 minutes for a drink.

Wonderful!

Liked: The breakfast buffet and evening reception food were really nice. The room was comfortable and spacious. The view of the park and downtown Huntsville was phenomenal.
Disliked: The temperature unit had an "Error" message, but since the room was comfortable overall, I didn't worry about it.

Overall, the stay was decent.

Liked: I attended at concert at the Von Braun Center, so the hotel was convenient and reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious and included many options.
Disliked: My room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned because a pair of underwear was under the table. A huge cockroach was also in the room when my daughter woke up to go to the bathroom.

Check-in was easy and quick....

Liked: Very spacious rooms. Nice in room amenities. Hotel was in a good location. The breakfast was plentiful. Omelet bar was good. Hot bar was not very hot. Good variety of choices but the hot food was not hot and the fruit and other cold items were warm (on the same bar).
Disliked: The hotel restaurant did not offer a good variety of choices on the menu. I would recommend a new menu with more of a bar/cafe menu to satisfy the clientele. It was pricey but guest are willing to pay for decent food.
