350 pound woman, in her underwear (how am I EVER going to get that image out of my head), and family (10 -15 of them) arguing (screaming) in the hallway, for an hour and a half, at 3:30 in the morning. Called security. He told them to shut up. 10 minutes later, back at it again. The next day they left and all was well. Very quiet and enjoyable stay.
Liked: Nice place
Disliked: Uncontrolled NOISE !!!

Liked: Our room itself was great.
Disliked: We stayed during construction, we understand that upgrades need to be made but would've preferred to not stay during that time. Also, our tub didn't work properly. The breakfast was NOT good at all. Then on our final morning an alarm went off (falsely) scaring us out of the bed.

Beware of massive renovation and...
Liked: The woman at the front desk who had been with the hotel for 20 years was an absolute joy. For the most part, that's about where joy ended.
Disliked: Unfortunately when you make a reservation they don't tell you the hotel was under massive renovation. Granted I know there were challenges due to COVID. The renovation took out an entire elevator bank which forced more people into ridiculously slow elevators. When a good number of people refused to wear masks you had to wait a long time to get a car with only a couple of people. I was on the 6th floor so taking the stairs down wasn't bad. It was going up that was a pain (note to self -- get in shape). In light of COVID I appreciated the absence of daily cleaning, but as much as I wanted to have someone come up and remove the giant disgusting glob of hair in the bathroom sink drain which was disgusting, but, because of COVID I avoided calling someone to come in the room. Breakfast was another disappointment. Because of COVID, breakfast was carryout. Day one was a cold/hard slice and a half of french toast. Oddly, to get your meal you had to push past other guest (most without masks) waiting for their food. Day two I opted to talk across the street to Denny's to avoid a repeat of the day before. Day three was a grab and go, which turned out to be a sleeve of pre-packaged donuts and a packaged muffin. I would think a hotel with a such a solid reputation could have come up with a more creative solution...

My stay accomplished the purpose.
Liked: I liked the free breakfast. The French toast was good and they gave a good amount of bacon.
Disliked: The hotel was under renovation and they did not have my room ready when I arrived. I did mobile check in a day early and still did not get the room I checked into.

Liked: loved the location. loved the staff they were amazing.
Disliked: I appreciated the efforts that went into breakfast. But it was a bit disappointing. The french toast was pretty bad. Eggs and Bacon were good. Fruit cups were disappointing instead of fresh fruit.
