Embassy Suites by Hilton E Peoria Riverfront Conf Center

We absolutely loved this hotel. We just stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. We will most certainly stay again. The staff was so friendly and the rooms were very clean and nice. I cannot begin to say enough nice things about the complimentary breakfast and the wide variety they had.

Disliked: Paying to park a car ever night is ridiculous.

Liked: Nice location and room setup - spacious and conveniently arranged inside
Disliked: Room wasn’t properly clean - kicked a bottle by the bed which wasn’t picked up before we moved in. There were used cotton swabs in the garbage bin, some other areas in the room were dusty/unclean. The neighbors doors slam very loudly. The weekend we came - there were dozens of children unsupervised running around and taking elevators between floors non-stop bumping into people. There was a loud alarm going off non stop by the main entrance all evening long with 0 employees seemingly addressing the issue. The parking lot was packed, and nobody had parking slips displayed - so no enforcement- had to park kinda far, and it was raining. Received a parking slip only after asking specifically if I needed one. The TV remote was not working, but the TV was on with Welcome - so had to find batteries to even turn it off. Also, they block HDMI ports or something, so I initially couldn’t connect my laptop to use it as a display - had to unplug their hotel box and plug my stuff into the input to make it work.

Great staff, rooms need some...

Liked: Convenient location and good common spaces, great breakfast and friendly staff.
Disliked: The room was shabby to dirty. Stained couch, damaged furniture, dingy carpet and walls. Rooms need a refresh.
