Liked: Love that the breakfast buffet and happy hour are included with overnight visit. Both were very good. Staff was friendlier and more attentive the first night and were tipped nicely for their effort. Not as attentive or friendly the second night.
Disliked: First room:key card did not work, had to take it downstairs to be re-scanned. Then had to request another room due to loud AC unit outside window.Then I found a $20 charge to our card for overnight parking on the premises! Where else was I going to park!

Overall stay was good. Next...
Liked: The breakfast was great, made to order omelets were a plus. The new renovations were nice as well. The room was comfortable and the restaurant served good food and a reasonable price. The free reception was nice also.
Disliked: The parking was terrible because of too many events. I paid for parking but still had to park off the property. It was noisy and staff didn?t respond well to complaints. I also didn?t get my points they said they were offering due to the construction.

Not a good experience -...
Liked: The beds were good - however when we requested a pillow for the pull out sofa (there were none) we were told "We'll see if we can find one". Breakfast was great - and the people that were working in that area were very nice.
Disliked: The hotel was out of control. Hockey tournament - but they did not require parents to sign an agreement that children would not be running through the hotel (like most hotels. Hotel staff very rude when called to complain. Manager had no clue how to handle the situation. Michelle (desk on Saturday night) was rude - needs to learn how to work with the public. When my daughter asked if we could have a later checkout because her daughter wasn't feeling well, Michele screamed in to the phone' "No, you can't!" and slammed the phone down".Mayor's Ball was on Saturday night. Paying customers at the hotel had to park in the Kent State parking lot and walk to the hotel. (The valet service was parking the cars from the event in the hotel parking lot). When one family complained about the chaos they were told "Well, you should have seen it on New Year's Eve." It's too bad HIlton has put so much money into this hotel, but the people running it are doing a poor job.
