Liked: The suites were spacious and comfortable and the location is excellent for access to the waterfront, historic or medical districts
Disliked: Some of the first guests back after the pandemic shutdown, limited on some amenities due to this and it should have been made known on the website which gave detailed information on reopening but omitted the limits such as pool and restaurants and room service closed and very limited complimentary breakfast. After reading the website we had planned to spend the evenibg at the hotel but after check in found no hospitality available and had to immediately get our vehicle back from valet and go find somewhere for supper. Becauae of poor advance notice and no reservations the best we could find was a 2 hour wait after paying for more parking again downtown. None of this would have been unexpected had the website not listed these things as open amenities. They're doing the best that they can at this time and the property is highly recommended and a good value after everything gets going again. I recommend calling the property directly instead of relying on their website if you have questions, however.

Liked: The location was great. The breakfast was nice in the mornings.
Disliked: The rooms are a little outdated. The beds aren't very comfortable. The room we stayed in had an odd mix of old furniture.

Liked: 1. The rooms were very spacious.
2. For the most part, the staff exuded good customer service.
3. The best part of the stay was the free breakfast and the food included was very tasty.
Disliked: 1. Although a historical building, the hotel is extremely dated and not well preserved. 2. The rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. Upon entry, our room had cobwebs and the vents were visibly filthy. The beds were small and not comfortable. The room took a very long time to heat especially in the evening. 3. During check-out, the manager had to adjust my bill. Afterwards he offered that I sign up for the Hilton Rewards program. I provided him my email address. When I declined to provide my home address, he repeated three times that he did me a ?favor? by adjusting the bill ?as if I was obligated to provide him more personal information. His demeanor was very unprofessional and made a very sour ending to an already disappointing stay.
