Disliked: Pool had people from other hotels coming to it and nobody kicks them out

Liked: Suites are large and comfortable: breakfast is good; location is great: happy hour is all right if that’s your thing
Disliked: It does look a bit tired and faded. The pool is small and it did all feel very crowded. But the staff are universally good. However, there was a tsunami warning - the highest alert - and the hotel made no contact with guests at all. I would have expected a notice on the tv screens or tannoy , given that everyone’s mobile phone was playing alerts telling us to move to safety. We were fine being in the 16th floor but for something so serious, there should have been messages to every guest directly.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY WITH...

Liked: THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED FROM EACH AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER WAS OUTSTANDING, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. LOCATION WAS VERY CENTRAL FOR US. BEACH WAS SO CLOSE. SHOPS JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR. OUR ROOM WAS MUCH BIGGER THAN WE WERE EXPECTING. THE LAUNDRY FACILITIES WERE SO GOOD AS WELL - A PLEASANT UNEXPECTED AMENITY. FOOD FOR BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS EVERY DAY. EVENING RECEPTION WAS ALWAYS A FUN EVENT
Disliked: MY ONLY DISLIKES WOULD BE THAT I WISH THE BATHROOM HAD AN EXHAUST FAN AND THERE IS NO TOILET BRUSH FOR CLEANING. THE FRIDGE IN THE KITCHENETTE WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER IF IT WAS A BIT BIGGER

Liked: Location was great. Short walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping.
Disliked: Some aspects of the rooms in particular the bathrooms were run down. The shower rail in particular was way too low. At the maximum height it would be suitable for a 5yr old. Buffet food quality was fair at best.
