Pleasant

Liked: It was close to the zoo and children’s museum.
Disliked: The room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke, the pool was extremely cold and dirty, the bar only had bottom shelf liquor, and bedding for pullout couch was not provided.

Liked: There was nothing to like about this property.
Disliked: My room was not ready until 3 hours after my arrival. There was a man at the entrance in a wheelchair that did not seem to work there but he was there when I checked in and out the next day. He was not a disturbance,but why was he there? Not very welcoming. The room was VERY dated and there were stains on just about every piece of furniture, not to mention there was a smell in the room that would not leave even after using lysol. I came to SC for a concert and contemplated leaving that night just so i would not have to sleep there, however I did not want to waste the credit I used to book the room. They gave me 2 meal vouchers I did not use I was not comfortable with eating anything from there.

I am never going back...

Liked: It was ok, but very slim compared to most EMBASSY's that I have been to.
Disliked: My room was not thoroughly cleaned, the thermostat did not work, no kids channels for free, Stale carpet, Dirty windows, customer reception only had 2 bottles, old dirty furniture, $10 for self parking, and the location is joined with what appears to be a drug motel, and strangers just in the parking lot (unsafe), charges do not fit the location, spray painted tubs and ceilings, and just tainting the HILTON name.

To say I was disappointed...

Liked: The breakfast was tasty, however, many of the selections were slim to none during the last 30 minutes of service. Also, the majority of the tables were littered with dishes and we were unable to find seating.
Disliked: I didn’t like the pool. The water mess not clean. The pool was very crowded, most of which were preteens and teenagers. They apparently had no parental supervision. They were screaming and yelling, and often using profanity. They were hitting people in the head with small pool balls. They were roughhousing; throwing each other into the pool; and they were jumping into the pool with no regard of the small children in the pool (including my 3 & 7 year old granddaughters). And, to top it off, the pool water was nasty. Given the above, we would have never gotten in but my grandchildren were intent on it. The room we stayed in is in need of repairs and was not clean. Dirty spots on the carpet and furniture. A previous guest had apparently cut their nails I the room and the nail clippings had not been cleaned. Other guests were up all night running the hallways and being loud. I’m so disappointed as I thought that Hilton properties were supposed to be the cream of the crop. Do better! We will not be back!

Less than I had hoped...

Liked: The people were lovely and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The restaurant was closed even though we were there by 8:00 and it was supposed to be open until 10:30

Expensive and disgusting

Liked: Friends staff, good continental breakfast and snacks/drinks for adults and kids from 5:30-730
Disliked: The room was disgusting!!! Unfortunately they were over booked so we couldn't even switch. I wanted to even wear socks while showering. Gross

Loved it. Will stay there...

Liked: Very clean, friendly, helpful staff. Loved that we were able to bring out dogs with us.
