Liked: This is a fabulous choice for families. The rooms are spacious, the common areas (atrium, lobby) are large enough to 'spread out.' Young kids will find the glass elevator very exciting. The breakfast choices are plentiful and well staffed with the made to order omelettes being the highlight. I appreciated the spaciousness of our room which had plenty of natural light. The towels are plush and soft! The location is superb. Steps from the Metro, King Street and a grocery store (Whole Foods).
Disliked: The rooms are getting a bit dated so not everything is in its best working order. For instance, the blackout curtain in our bedroom was not working properly--getting stuck in the tracks. The door closure for our room has seen better days, etc. Parking is expensive ($38/day) and the spaces very narrow. However, it's nice that it's in the building, accessible via elevator. Except for the omelettes I didn't love the breakfast choices. I would have preferred some healthier options.
