Liked: Very convenient walking distance to everything in that part of town. 2 blocks or so away from Civic Center Park. Parking on premises overnight for $30, not bad for that part of town and the parking attendant was very nice. Hotel staff very friendly

Liked: very walkable to many places. the room was quiet. i love old buildings. id never stayed in the tenderloin before and it was a great place to read about the history of the neighborhood.
Disliked: i would have liked coffee in the lobby. but there are great coffee shops close, including next door. (they just werent open when i wake up).

Disliked: The mattresses were both about 50 years old, uneven, lumpy; bedding was fine, furnishings worn out, hotel about 100 years old! On Turk street, the WORST STREET IN SAN FRANCISCO!

Disliked: The rooms in this hotel could use a big upgrade. Very dated and have a musky smell. The location is terrible though. Felt very dangerous at night and even during the day. This isnt the hotels fault, but its reality. We checked out early for a new hotel

Liked: Check out was at 12pm and our flight didnt leave until later in the night. The manager kept our luggage locked in a separate room so we can enjoy the rest of our day in San Francisco without having to carry around our luggage. Very nice staff.
Disliked: No refrigerator or microwave

Disliked: Bad neighborhood. No ac or fan in room so needed to open windows. But since its a bad neighborhood there is lots of noise to wake you up. No shampoo or conditioner in shower.
