Good location and friendly staff

Liked: The room was ok. Low ceilings in places.The breakfast was good but had to wait as there were people who did not look like they were staying in the hotel getting preferential treatment.
Disliked: The wait for breakfast and no list as i was on the top floor.

Cheap but definitely not cheerful

Disliked: The whole hotel was tired and needed a lot of work…Reception staff were average and actually not that friendly…Bedrooms were adequate for a place to put your head at night but no comfort…felt more like an office space No extract in the bathroom Windows filthy….carpet stained…Furniture in room was mismatched and old and could do with throwing in the tip! Breakfast wasn’t ready for the time stated and when it was it was quite chaotic…guests unsure as to whether to go up and help themselves or order at the tableSelection of breakfast very poor…toaster took ages!Yoghurts were supermarket basicsTea was cold when delivered to our table. Owners children ran riot around the hotel!!
