Awesome getaway in a quaint...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent during our stay (2 days). Locations was ~ 20 miles from our destination, but it was just far enough away to relax from a busy graduation weekend.
Disliked: Beautiful estate but still needs some refurbishing in various areas.

Elmwood 1820 was a wonderful...

Liked: Great staff. Fabulous breakfast. Coffee delivery in AM before breakfast as getting ready for the day. Unique decorations in The Explorer suite. No TV in the room. WiFi available although we did not use it.
Disliked: Nothing.

Perfect

Liked: Above and beyond- one of the nicest places we ever stayed- host is amazing and this place is done right. No room for improvement, perfect as is! We will be back for a longer stay- also town is charming with great dining options!

Wonderful and very relaxing stay...

Liked: Richard, one of the owners, made our two night stay so wonderful. The breakfasts every morning were incredible. Historic home with all the modern amenities. I would highly recommend Elmwood 1820. We will be back.
Disliked: The only small issue was the lighting in our room could have been brighter. As one ages, the eyes aren’t the same as when you were younger.
