Liked: Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 3-Star ExperienceI rarely leave reviews, but this one felt necessary. I booked this thinking it was a 3-star hotel—honestly, it felt more like a 1-star.The decor is very outdated, which I don’t mind as long as things are clean. But the room had dust everywhere—it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. Basic hygiene seemed to be lacking, and that alone made me uneasy. The heating didn’t work, and when I asked the receptionist if it could be turned up, I was told the manager (the only person who can do it) wasn’t in until morning. So I had to sleep in a cold room all night with no extra blanket or duvet offered. For a hotel, that’s just not acceptable.I had asked for a quiet room, but mine was at the front of the building—cue constant traffic noise. So between the noise and the cold, sleep was a challenge. Now the teabags. They weren’t individually wrapped—just loose ones left out all day in the room. I couldn’t bring myself to drink it. And after seeing that, I didn’t even risk trying their breakfast. If that’s how they store tea, I didn’t want to find out how the kitchen hygiene was.The internet was another fail. It’s advertised as free Wi-Fi, but the password I was given at reception didn’t work at all. I had an important Zoom call in the morning and tried multiple times—nothing worked. In the end, I had to use mobile data just to get online. Then, to top it off, someone knocked on my door at 11:20 AM to ask if I was leaving—checkout was at 12. I was still on my Zoom call, which was due to finish at 11:30, and I obviously planned to leave before 12. It just felt rushed and unnecessary. I didn’t come banging on their door at 3 PM when check-in opened, so I expected the same courtesy in return.Honestly, I didn’t expect luxury. But I did expect warmth, cleanliness, working Wi-Fi, and a bit of basic customer service. Sadly, the hotel didn’t deliver on any of that. Very disappointed.

Filthy hotel with terrible showers...

Liked: Good location, carparking available
Disliked: Filthy, skid marks in toilet, hairs all over bathroom, floors covered in crumbling plaster, random shoes in corridor, water pressure in shower non-existent, uncomfortable beds, water takes ages to heat up, no information on breakfast times on arrival or on information sheet, staff not welcoming on arrival.
