Felt like home.

Liked: What an amazing and unexpected last minute booking! Staying with Bill & Mike felt like we’re staying with old friends. They were both so wonderful and helped us familiarize with the surrounding area. The place is approximately about 10 mins to the center of Ogunquit with plenty of restaurants and shopping. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.

Great place with exceptional hosts...

Liked: Beautiful old inn with clean comfortable rooms.
Disliked: Nothing is bad here. Plenty of outlets to charge devices, large tvs and well landscaped exterior.

Liked: Loved the grounds, room fresh and clean, owners were wonderful. Breakfast was cooked to order by Chef Bill and served by Michael. Always great!
Disliked: Room was a little small but expected in the age of the house. Wished it was within walking distance of town and attractions but there were accommodations for transportation

Worth it!

Liked: The room, location and the breakfast were great! The standout and the best were the hosts Bill and Mike. Not only did they make you feel welcome and at home but truly made it more than just a normal stay. Both of them elevate the visit here and make this place stand out from all of the many other places my wife and I have visited over the years. Would highly recommend this location for your next visit.

THE BEST Inn we have...

Liked: The Inn was beautiful inside and out and the hosts (owners) were the best! Our suite was immaculate and we loved the jet tub and extremely comfortable king poster bed. The breakfasts (cooked by Bill) were accompanied by fresh fruit bowls and served in a charming dining room. We have been to Southern Maine a number of times and have stayed at many fine places but this was FAR and ABOVE any of them. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys an upscale Inn experience. Well worth the cost and then some! Can't say enough about this place and the wonderful owners!

A wonderful bed and breakfast...

Liked: Elmere House is conveniently located near Kennebunkport and surrounding areas. It is a good base location for many activities in the area (Kennebunkport, light houses, etc.) The room was very comfortable. Bill and Michael were exceptional hosts. The breakfasts were very good. They are very knowledgable about the area and had many suggestions for activities. We definitely will return if we are back in the area.
Disliked: There was some traffic noise when spending time in the large yard. But, that is nothing they have control over. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable.
