Beautiful mother daughter pre wedding...

Liked: Room beautiful, grounds lovely, all staff lovely, food excellent in restaurant
Disliked: Spa was ok, not stellar...no pool, and had to drive to proper hiking trails

Liked: The breakfast was very good. Gardens were really pleasant. Hotel was clean, however it lacked opulence and did not feel uplifting. Also, needed some repairs, which were being ignored. The breakfast room was very bland and had no pictures. The fan noise in bathroom was awful. We had to change rooms for our last night due to a housekeeping issue, which was very inconvenient. Second room was better than the one for our first two nights. Given a $27 rebate for inconvenience on checking out.

Disliked: Was at one time a beautiful building. Fallen into a general state of disrepair. Peeling paint, shoddy maintenance.

Gastronomic delight

Liked: We had dinner and as with our first visit chef Phillipe created not only a feast for the eyes but also a truly delicious meal.10 out 10!!We look forward to our next visit.Tim
