Disliked: The cleanliness, it looked like some one had vomited in the bathroom sink and it hadn't been cleaned up properly. Also the furniture looked like it came from a charity shop.

Beautiful place to stay

Liked: Breakfast venues close by in fact we found Troy's Cafe 5 min walk excellent food Breakfast and home made soup lunch. Plenty food places. We liked trams to Princess St. Location is very good indeed. For most tourist places.

Disliked: Shower curtain was filthy, bathroom mouldy, peeling paint, no towel rails, generally run down

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: The biggest problem was the bathroom. The bathroom was awful. Almost unusable. The shower pressure is extremely low, you have no place to hang your towel.

Great character, great location

Liked: space, beds, coffee and snack availble, great access to Haymarket Station and to Princes Street and other attractions.
Disliked: concern about the tub, I was worried about slipping in the tub

Superb staff and location

Liked: Location is good. About a 20 minutes walk to Prince Street. Longer to Royal Mule and other attractions. The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of heavy bags and they were quick to assist in taking them up for us. They also called for a cab to airport and scheduled it for us.
Disliked: Too bright in the room. Difficult to close the long curtain to keep light out.
