Great stay downtown!

Liked: Very nice hotel so close to downtown!
Disliked: The actual hotel is under construction at the moment, totally surrounded by scaffolding. At the same time the streets around are under construction as well.This made it very hard to find using GPS.Guest rooms are currently in the building adjacent to the hotel.It would have been nice if there had been a heads up about this before we travelled there.

Disliked: We received a text from this Hotel telling us that the staff were looking forward to greeting us the night however when we arrived outside the Hotel it was firmly closed and covered in scaffolding - what a surprise! I was completely shocked that no one, not the Hotel nor Booking .com, had informed us of this situation. Eventually we did find a grubby notice telling us to go to another Hotel further up the road which fortunately turned out to be OK.

Under refurbishment till November 2026

Liked: Location really good, lovely big room
Disliked: The main building is closed for refurbishment until November 2026, so it is covered in scaffolding. This isn't mentioned at all by Booking.com & you still show a picture of the main hotel. Breakfast is in a part of the closed building, so it feels like you are entering a building site. It's also very disjointed as it's in a pub setting. Breakfast is not on par with other Elite Hotels. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was it was listed as having parking. Parking was in a car park a street away and cost an extra 250 SEK per day. This is not pointed out when booking.

Superb

Liked: Nice clean room with great location. We stayed in Lilla Hotellet because the main hotel was under renovation.
Disliked: Breakfast in local pub was not so great but it was ok.

Good

Liked: Central location, the beds and the bathroom
Disliked: No real air conditioning Loud people walking by outside in the night 1-2 am, waking you up.

Disliked: I booked family room for 4. Room was ready just for 2. Receptionist said to make our own beds, that sheets are in the closed. There werent. Unresponsive throug messeges.
