Liked: Great location. Very central, at the river. Beautiful view, also from the rooftop bar. Very friendly staff.

Disliked: First room was a single room with a double bed in. You could not move in the room so we were forced to upgrade at a cost of SEK409.On the second night there was a ball with a discotheque booming until 1am in the morning. It made it impossible to sleep even for a couple of hours later. We complained to the hotel and are awaiting a response re compensation.

Liked: Great Hotel at great location. Extremely friendly and helpful team. Parking, several restaurants and bars nearby (1-2 min walk). Breakfast was very good.If you like to visit Karlstad this Hotel is my recommendation.
Disliked: This is not about the Hotel, it's a matter of the city: Parking requires EasyPark app. I havent found instructions (I don't speak swedish so there might be some information understandable for swedisch visitors, to have it also in english would be good). But the team at reception was very helpful and provided the required information in no time.
