Great location, Beautiful rooms and...

Liked: Perfect location, easy to drive into Cirencester, Bibury and Stow on the wold. Lovely newly decorated bedrooms and en-suite, welcoming staff and amazing price! I think the most important parts of a stay is the host/ welcoming experience, first impressions of your room including the interiors/ overall comfort and the shower- our stay ticked all these boxes!
Disliked: The food was okay, I think could have been better! I think they need to work on their burgers!

Disliked: The cooked breakfast was a bit disappointing. 2 very thin slices of streaky back not a full rasher. 1/2 a mushroom. There was no choice of bread what there was was not edible.

Ruined by the broken tooth...

Liked: Friendly staff, room was smaller than I expected but cosy. Good breakfast and lovely cleaning woman. 2 glasses of complementary Prosecco on our wedding anniversary dinner
Disliked: Third floor, lot of stairs. Would have preferred a first floor room. Unfortunately, on our 45th wedding anniversary dinner, my husband had the leek and mushroom carbonara at dinner and broke his tooth on a piece of stone/grit which we told the waiter about and he confirmed it was from the leeks not washed properly. My husband was unable to eat his dinner as more grit was present. He left the rest of the carbonara. He was still hungry so ordered the cheese board. The waiter took the carbonara off but didn’t offer any other compensation which was a shame. We now have the cost of a filling because there was grit in the leeks. Very disappointing..

Liked: A lovely building which was very clean and tidy. My room was large and well appointed, very comfortable. I was checked in by a novice on reception but I`m sure he`ll get up to speed quickly. He certainly seemed to care. My stay was very short and so I did not have the chance to experience much...but I can say that breakfast was very good.
Disliked: My shower controls needed attention but the check-out staff took action straight away so I`m sure they`ll be fine now!
