Our stay was decent

Liked: It was quiet because we were in the very back.
Disliked: A/C didn’t work well. Bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very hot even with the windows open all night.

If I don't get my...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Filthy and very, very bad. Even though there was nobody there, all the rooms empty, we got a horrible room. When we saw it we wanted to leave. When we asked for a refund we were presented with another option but just as bad. I left and filed a complaint with booking.

They tricked us into booking...

Disliked: It was not the room we had booked. They tricked us into thinking we were renting a room with 3 beds: 2 bunk bed and 1 queen bed. That's what I had chosen and thought I was paying for. For my surprise, when we got there, they had booked us for a room with two queen size beds and clerk did not give a damn about it.

Liked: The location for what we were there for was great.
Disliked: Very dingy bedding. Everything very dated and in dis-repair. Bathroom window was cracked. Bathroom vanity was falling apart.

It's not that bad

Liked: It was reasonably priced, the bed was comfortable, and it was pretty quiet.Based on reviews of similar properties, it seems this might be one of the better budget hotels in South Lake Tahoe. Part of my complaint is the AC was so/so, but many budget hotels have no AC.
Disliked: The AC didn't work well, partly because they largely blocked the AC vent with the dining table. Pro tip, move the table and it'll work to a lot better. The bathroom was old, ugly, and not all features worked (vent and heater nonfunctional, hot and cold water in shower mislabeled).I believe the listing said 350sqft, I paced it as 21 x 12 which is about 250sqft.Front desk staff didn't engage at all. They appeared to be on a personal call and dealing with me felt like a nuisance to them.

Great location. Poor hotel maintenance.

Liked: The beds were comfortable and clean.
Disliked: It wasn't clean. Found a empty pepsi can and dirty napking under A/c and bedskirt. Dirty cleaning towel was left on floor. Window had a broken hole. I couldn't make coffee due to missing coffee reservoir. The toilet was super noisy. The air vent didn't work in restroom.
