Element Omaha Midtown Crossing

My girlfriend and I chose to stay here based on the variety of positive feedback and reviews. It was close to the venue (The Waiting Room Lounge) and a fairly cheap taxi ride. The hotel had a friendly and inviting staff and were exceptional at answering questions about the surrounding area (e.g. restaurants, shops, etc.). The hotel offers some free parking, but we chose to pay $6 to park our car in the safe, convenient parking garage right on the premises. Upon arriving to our room, we initially noticed how neat they were (modern, clean studio-like apartment feel). Our room offered a king sized bed, couch, flat screen tv, coffee maker, full kitchen complete with sink, dishwasher, stove, microwave and cook ware (plates, utensils, glasses, containers, etc.). The shower also appeared modern and neat. The hotel was a quick, 2 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and shops. The continental breakfast was impressive, featuring waffles, fresh fruit, juices, crescent or biscuit egg-cheese-ham sandwiches, cold/hot cereal, bagels, etc. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay here and would stay here again upon coming back. Excellent stay in my honest opinion.

Liked: We liked that there was a couch in the room so we could watch television without being in bed.
Disliked: There was very low water pressure in the shower. We understand the reason, but rather than having a "rain" showerhead, maybe having a regular water saver shower head would be better. I had difficulty getting shampoo rinsed out of my hair because of the low pressure. Also, the Sunday morning breakfast service was chaotic. Maybe having a defined route at the counter to dish up breakfast would make it less of a free-for-all.

Liked: We liked the location of the property. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the beds are very comfortable. The showers are nice and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: I would have like my view out of my window to not be a parking garage.
