Nice room but too much...

Liked: The room itself was nice, spacious, with a sofa and a small kitchen. It was in a good area, within walking distance from Bank of America Stadium.
Disliked: When we arrived we saw a sign in the elevator mentioning water would be cut off for plumbing updates from 9am to 5 pm. We didn't think too much about it until the next day when we noticed we no longer had water. When we called to ask the front desk what happened, they said there were signs in the elevator and at the front desk informing guests of the plumbing work. That response made us more upset, as we had no way of reading a sign at the front desk before we arrived in the city, at which point we no longer had a chance to change. Nowhere on their website did they mention they would be shutting down the water service the days we were going to be there, it caught us completely off guard and made for a very uncomfortable day (we were working from the hotel that day). Had we known there would be no water we would not have booked.There were also issues with the electrical wiring of the room. To use the microwave we would have to turn off the kitchen light and disconnect all computers, otherwise the circuit breaker would trip.

Liked: Reservation was not honored. Made reservations almost 8 months in advance. Went to check in and was told the hotel was “overbooked “ . Was sent to another hotel 30 minutes away. Ridiculous.
