I will never go back,...
Liked: I did not have time to eat for breakfast in the morning - I had an early schedule
Disliked: Front desk clerk - attitude, helpfulness was miles below sub-par. I had a minor emergency that took a bit extra time to reconcile, and asked for a bit of extra time to check out - and was refused. So I had to rush back to the hotel, ignoring the emergency, to check out on time. It only takes one bad front desk clerk to totally ruin an experience. I cannot remember any other time in my many years of travel of having faced this stark intractability. My company promotes travel to Texas communities... ExploreTexas.com... and in considering hospitality venues to add to Pflugerville, Element failed.

Pleasantly surprised
Liked: We never stayed at an Element before and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciated how they catered to their guest. For example, we were told they have a large Korea clientele, so many of the signs were in Korean. I appreciated that, even though I am not Korean. The facilities were well designed, clean, and functional. We would definitely return.
Disliked: I am a Bonvoy Marriott member and was not able to redeem points due to booking through Booking.com. That really was the only downside.

We really enjoyed our stay...
Liked: It was peaceful, clean, and quiet, and staff were friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The eggs. Sorry! The coffee was good, though!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Paid for a studio hotel room. Was put into a standard suite. Staff had no way to credit me the difference in rate. No studio rooms were available. Not sure why a studio hotel room was not reserved for me. Second day, a studio room came available but was told my stuff and kenneled pup would have to remain in a back office until ready, which was hours away. Unacceptable. Unacceptable.

Liked: Everything is good except the replying from customer service.
Disliked: The customer service didn't take ownership to help customers deal with refund issues.
