Ambleside town center is a 5-minute walk away. The property is surrounded by lakes and mountains. The accommodations is over 4 floors and the rooms are individually decorated and feature an private bathroom digital TV hot drinks tray & locally sourced toiletries. The hosts have good local knowledge of the area and have walking and holiday information folders for guests' use. A choice of Cumbrian breakfasts made with local produce is served from 08:15 until 09:15 in the unique dining room which features a local slate wall. Beautiful B&B great for couples

Liked: Friendly owners. Great breakfast. Great amenities in the bathroom. Appreciate the owners try to support local businesses, from food to skincare products in the bathroom.
Disliked: The room is a bit stuffy but there’s a fan

Excellent trip.

Liked: I was delighted with the accommodation which was extremely comfortable,smart and very clean .The bed was very comfortable.Having free on line parking was a bonus .The breakfast was very good , excellent service ,nothing too much trouble ,I particularly liked the non cooked breakfast options.Home mixed Granola with nuts and mixed fruits in personal jars full of variety and so tasty .A nice choice of creamy yoghurt ,raisin au pain and excellent choice of cooked breakfast .The accomodation was very central and full filled all our needs .Andrea and Giles the hosts were lovely friendly and helpful. We loved the decor and 2 lovely lounges available and bar if needed.Thank you for a wonderful 2 days, our first time staying in Ambleside.Its been memorable and we look forward to returning.The very best of good wishes with this new business.I honestly felt you were professional s been doing this years .Well done and congratulations and Good luck

Liked: Great location and an excellent breakfast provided. The room was very comfortable
Disliked: The car parks provided are very tight so we ended up taking the less stressful option of paying for parking down the road

We loved everything about this...

Liked: We had a beautiful stay at Elder Grove. The property was very comfortable, well appointed and in a great location. Andrea and Giles were fabulous hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Great breakfast and very comfy bed. Can highly recommend!
Disliked: Can’t fault this property.
