Liked: Great location close to Cedar Sinai. Very comfortable room.
Disliked: We knew the hotel is undergoing renovation. The room was beautifully remodeled. A couple things missing: hook on the back of the bathroom to hamg towel/toiletries bag. No security latch on the door. There IS a deadbolt, I am just used to having a latch as well. Lastly, I was surprised there was no map for emergency exit on the back of the room door (like usual). All things, I am sure will be fixed in the reno.

Disliked: Construction in building: plaster and debris in the hallway, smell of turpentine in the room.Lamps in the room were missing light bulbs; attendant unable to find the right bulbs. He finally brought me a different lamp, which was too big for the bedside table, besides being bent out of shape and looking old, worn and dusty.Telephone in the room userviceable, no way to communicate with the front desk. Had to go downstairs each time I needed to talk to the staff.Air conditioning: Room very cold when I arrived. Turned on the heat, but took several hours for the room to warm up. The fan from the air unit was noisy and made the smell of turpentine worse, and in order to keep the room warm, I had to keep it going all night.

Builders paradise

Disliked: Building work going on till 7pm everyday. First 2 rooms out of the 3 I had booked one had a broken toilet and the other a bucket in the middle of the room below the leak from the ceiling. AC in lobby so cold to stop people sitting in it, then later turned up after everyone has left.
