Good value, nice people and...

Liked: We picked this thru Booking.com because it would do a one night rental in season. The room was immaculate. The A/C on a muggy day was sufficient. The deck outside of the 2nd floor room was nice and relaxing and overlooked the outside seating area for the bar/restaurant. The food, service and live music at the restaurant were great. Free assigned parking for hotel guests and open spaces for bar/restaurant customers. We will be back.
Disliked: 2 things: The noise level in the room from the crowd at the bar late night (not bad enough to keep us away next time) and the wide blinds don't close quite all the way to ensure total privacy.

Great stay in Cape May!

Liked: Cute boutique hotel- a 5 minute walk to the beach- right near the Washington Mall with lots of shopping and restaurants. Love the outside decks with live music. They also have a nice inside restaurant/ bar area that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. Room was clean and comfortable and I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff! We’ll definitely be back!
Disliked: Staff was so nice and helpful! Outside deck and restaurant was great! Fun live music.

Elaine’s was a wonderful experience...

Liked: Absolutely clean - we’ve stayed at a few other cape May hotels with a faint mold smell but Elaine’s was so clean I wondered how they could possibly do it! Live music lovely especially Tuesday night singer. Desserts excellent. The out there coffee place nearby had amazing quality and choices. Assigned parking spot nice. Our room had fantastic balcony with comfy seating.
Disliked: Crab Omelette not as good as mermaids. Coffee average but then we are fussy :) air con unit over bed head, but luckily didn’t need to run it at night.
