Superb

A special and comfortable hotel...

Liked: I liked the concept of the hotel, with guest rooms named for famous Mexican women and decorated individually. Most of the staff members were extremely helpful; the front desk lady in the morning was efficient but did not take time to help as the others did. The ladies in the evening helped me locate places to buy specific gifts I needed, and the gentleman who took care of my car was anxious to please. The extremely spacious bed was very comfortable; the mini bar was nicely stocked; the bathroom was spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: The mat for the shower floor might have been more obvious, and a bar in the shower would have helped with the slippery floor. I am tall, but I thought the soap and shampoo dispensers were too high.

Exceptional

Good stay in an average...

Liked: Decorations and theme of the hotel are on point which elevates the experience of staying in this place
Disliked: There are many things that need maintenance. From doors and screws to humidity on the walls.

Disappointing

Liked: The hotel has a good location near the historical center of Puebla. You don't hear any street noise. The design of the inner courts is interesting and provides a feeling of open spaces.
Disliked: Room Antonieta has its door on one side of the restaurant, too close. One cannot leave a window open for fresh air. No mosquito netting. The shower controls for hot and cold water are labelled with wrong colors. Water in the pool was very cold. Jaccuzzi was full of leaves, and is on the topmost level. Cold air. While I waited for the room, I was not offered water or coffee as courtesy. Instead of 3 nights I preferred to stay only 1.

Cozy hotel boutique centrally located

Liked: Hotel boutique with special setting and decorations. The pillows and blankets were good. Included mini bar, safe box and closet. Very clean and conveniently located.
Disliked: The towels need to be updated.

Superb

Nice but overpriced.

Liked: We had a couple of great massages, booked a day in advance. The staff was great! Never ate there, but had some excellent drinks at the bar. Great location, easy walk to everything in historic center.
Disliked: My confirmation was for a room with air conditioning. Our room did not have anything other than a window on the courtyard. The wifi did not work, they said it worked that morning and would fix it or give us another room. They did neither. The rooftop has a great view, but there was nothing there. Towels and linens very worn and tired. We had checked out of our room before our treatments, and th spa had very limited space for showering/ changing.
