Excellent base to visit San...

Liked: Quiet location, quick uber from airport and Old San Juan (40 minute walk to Old San Juan, which can be fun to do once or twice). Uber is not expensive, so if you plan to stay in the city it isn't worth it to rent a car. The hotel has a generator, which held up in a power outage when other locations (restaurants) needed to close. There is also a nice beach like a 4-minute walk away, and a large fantastic beach about a 10-minute walk away. The Cafe Tropical around the corner is a great place for a meal or drink. The room was clean, bright, and modern. The hotel is locked (either buzzed in by front desk or enter a code) so it feels secure. Our room had a microwave and mini-fridge. Good temperature and water pressure in the shower.
Disliked: No problems, I highly recommend this hotel, but some things are good to know. Be aware that the front desk is open from 2 pm - 6 am (closed in the mornings). The people at the front desk were very polite and always tried to be helpful, but were not very knowledgeable about things like nearby restaurants or how to explore more of the island. If you would like to ask about something not directly related to your stay at the hotel, just google it. Also, housekeeping happens every other day, and later in the day. One day I asked if our room could be cleaned as soon as possible after 2 pm, and it was cleaned around 5 pm. Again, everyone was very polite and helpful, and the room was cleaned well, but it happens later in the day.

Liked: The room was spacious, clean, modern updated. Location was great.

Short and terrible

Liked: As I’ve already said on a different survey, we had cold water in the shower and told the front desk. She said she would handle it and never did. at 12 in the morning. People were banging on the door across the way and yelling. And their continued to be unnecessary loud people for a few hours. There was also some really loud noise outside our window, which sounded like a helicopter every 20 minutes lasting 20 minutes. Impossible to sleep. No, we will not stay here again.

Decent Stay, Let Down by...

Liked: The room was very spacious and clean, but quite basic. There were no glasses, plates, hairdryer, or other usual amenities, just an iron and ironing board. It was also on the street side, so there was a fair bit of noise from traffic.
Disliked: I had requested and received confirmation for a free early check-in at 1 p.m., but on the day, no one was at reception until 2:30 p.m., and there was no communication or apology from the hotel. Overall, the location was okay but slightly out of the way, with only a few food places and a coffee shop nearby. No breakfast was offered.
