Nice little stop over

Liked: Nice and clean, beds are comfy and the pool / area / sun loungers are nice and clean.
Disliked: The benches outside the rooms with ashtray/bins next to them. Moved the one outside our room as the maid and a guest were outside at 8am talking which woke us up.

The El Rancho Boulder is...

Liked: The El Rancho Boulder is exceptionally clean, with all you need in your overnight accommodation. Very cute place, very thoughtfully put together. Dog walking area, outside tables and chairs, even a gas grill for guests to use. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lighting, while not great, was loads better than any other motel/hotel I've stayed at in the last few years. A/C and a ceiling fan! Beds (although too tall) and pillows excellent.
Disliked: I HATE this new thing with very tall beds. I'm short! I can almost not get into them! I've resolved to travel with a step stool from now on. Ridiculous (but the El Rancho Boulder is no worse than any other place these days)
