Liked: I can’t say enough good things about this little beachside gem! The location is perfect—you can hear the waves from your room and walk to the sand in just a couple of minutes. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.What really made the trip special, though, were the owners. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering local tips, making sure we had fresh towels, and treating us like old friends rather than just guests. You can tell they truly care about their motel and the people who stay here.If you’re looking for a cozy, friendly, and perfectly located place at the beach, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Liked: We had night stay, to be able to extend our visit since our prior hotel didn’t have a room for us for an extra night. The gentlemen who checked us in was very pleasant and allowed us to check in 3 1/2 hours early so we could start enjoying the beach - which is directly across the street - before afternoon storms arrived. Our 2nd floor room was clean, no odors, AC was on when we entered room so it was nice and cold. Beds on the firmer side but comfortable, floors and bedspreads updated. AC not loud; it is a newer unit and functioned well. This is an older 3 story place with no elevator but with a bar and restaurant on premises. Plenty of parking. Food Mart is a 5 minute or less walk. Our tub was slowish to drain, shower head set kind of low but water pressure was good. Bath surround had been re-tiled. Plenty of and shampoo provided. Kitchen has a small older stove, newer microwave and newer apartment size fridge. No dishes, utensils etc but we didn’t need to use the kitchen. While it is an older building and somewhat outdated, I have given it a high rating for the great staff, early checkin allowed at no cost, cleanliness, closeness to beach, cost. While we did not have a pet with us I appreciated that they allow dogs as I usually travel with mine. In short, good experience and I would cheerfully stay here again!

Liked: This was the only place on a busy weekend that had a room late night for an impromptu trip so we grabbed it. Upon arrival they gave us room 309 so up we went. The floors and stairs are all pretty wonky. Upon entering room 309 the room was a mess. Like someone just stayed in it and left 5 minutes ago. Beds dirty , full trash can, sand and food crumbs all over the floor. I went back down to the office and thankfully they had a room to correct it. Room 308 was available. Thankfully room 308 was recently serviced. Everything worked as it should but man I'll tell ya. This place is past its prime and in serious need of some updates and renovations. The air conditioners are super loud and the rooms smell of mildew. For $280 a night I would have to say ... Ouch
