Perfect locations for couples wanting...

Liked: The location was ideal for enjoying, food, shopping, and, of course, wine! We could walk everywhere but we’re still a short drive from wineries and other towns. The hotel did not disappoint!

Beautifully refurbished historic hotel in...

Liked: The recently updated rooms (2024) are gorgeous and very comfortable. Housekeeping staff were very good. Front desk staff were friendly and gracious.
Disliked: Soundproofing in the rooms was generally very good. Unfortunately, there was some transfer of noise from late night boisterous neighbors in an adjacent room. Bad luck, only.Dinner in the hotel was somewhat expensive, ambitious presentation but disappointing. perhaps an off night.

Exceptional

Nice Hotel on Sonoma Square

Liked: We loved the location as it right on the Sonoma Square and we loved the restaurant in the hotel. We went to see one of the Fever Concerts right there in Sonoma Square. They have great food for dinner and great breakfasts. The staff were very nice. The manager was excellent and did credit us back for not having a room where we booked with booking.com. Thank you.
Disliked: We liked the property except for the fact we were right above the eating area below. We were supposed to be by the pool area with a view of the pool. That did not happen. It was very noisy above the eating area sitting out on the balcony plus very weird looking down on everyone.

Great location but do not...

Liked: Location is superb for exploring Sonoma on foot or if you are picking up wine tours. We also enjoyed our meal at the restaurant.
Disliked: Room 8. We had a terrible first nights sleep because of noise / vibrations from the rumbling equipment close to the room. Apparently this is a known problem which was not flagged at time of booking or check in. I had to raise a strong complaint to get a room switch for our second night of our special 50th birthday celebration holiday. Our second night reached the standards I would expect for prices in excess of £300 per night.
