Liked: convenient location, free parking, staff were friendly
Disliked: we stayed in a pavilion room and there is an open air club on the other side of the block. The club is open and dj playing until 4am. I read reviews prior to booking but didn’t see anyone mention this. If your group has an early morning departure like we did, this may not be the place for you simply because the room is not sound proof and the music was quite loud. other than than that no issues. would have appreciated a heads up even at check in and would have paid an up charge to have a room that was not directly across from the open air club.

Liked: Great value! Yes, it's an older property but we we looking for clean, comfortable rooms in the downtown area and the El Cortez succeeded in meeting that need. Thanks!
Disliked: Only issue was with how booking.com submitted one of our reservations but the property was helpful in getting it sorted.
