Amazing minus housekeeper

Liked: Oceanfront. Pool where I could watch kids play from my room! Front office Jennifer was phenomenal and so was maintenance on our safe and shower head.
Disliked: The older housekeeper. We had all days except one. She was terrible explaining we couldn’t have towels because she didn’t have any. Try the front office for swim towels. Jennifer fixed us up with real towels no problem. The 6th day we asked for a bed change and vacuum. She threw the sheets at my kids, explained there was only 3 housekeepers, and said I’ll be here until 7. Nobody on vacation should worry or feel like a burden. I got the vacuum myself and we changed the sheets. Besides her everything was 10 stars. One person can really put a damper on your vacation where you are t supposed to worry.

Disliked: I think housekeeping did make one slight mistake by missing that there were no washcloths in our room for showering. At 1 a.m. I wasn't going to go ask for one, but that one small mistake was not a deal breaker. I understand that it is a smoke free facility, listing does say there is a designated smoking area.... It's the sidewalk out front. For a woman going out alone for a smoke after dark, That is NOT safe and should be rethought

Disliked: I didn't like the photos on Booking.com are from years ago. They did not give a warning of contractors working on the property. On the first night before sleeping at 11 p.m., had to call the repair guy to fix the toilet, continued running. They did come fix it with the repair man having an attitude. Next morning, I flushed the toilet...again not stop running. Called the front desk, we had to change rooms. 2nd day was ok, we spent the day on the beach.3rd day, we woke up to contractors above our room with jackhammers working. At this point, we decide to leave. We decided to go to the hotel guest laundry and wash our clothes. Lost our money in one machine, start clothes in another. After a while, we decided to go across the street to another laundromat that was great.Went to turn the keys in at the front desk after returning. The lady acted as if it was my fault for leaving a day early because I didn't come to change rooms for a second time. And no, she didn't offer a refund for the last night. Advice for hotel, use updated pics on all your booking platforms, and give warning of contractors on premises. And maybe not have contractors with a wheelbarrow of debris in the guest elevator.

Disliked: The rooms were disgusting. The baseboards are disgusting. Paint is chipping off the ceiling. Just a very nasty place. I will never go back there again. And the elevators are very slow just definitely was not a good experience.
